A Shrimp Case

[EN] Since its beginnings in the suburbs of Lyon in 2014, A Shrimp Case has been offering its unique recipe as a guitar-drums duo, with the 70s as a backdrop. A good mix of math-rock, noise, and punk, always sharp but not gratuitous, with riffs and atmospheres in sight. From there to sticking the label "Transe-rock" to all this, there is only one step. After about a hundred concerts, the period of 2020 and some changes in direction, the group is now relocated to the depths of Grenoble. The recipe is streamlined, and the lineup evolves with the arrival of Martin (Mother Medusa) on drums. Since then, the duo has been picking up the pieces where the end of the world left them and working on new compositions to hit the road again in 2024.

[FR] Depuis ses débuts dans la banlieue lyonnaise en 2014, A Shrimp Case propose sa recette singulière en duo guitare batterie, les 70’s en trame de fond. Un bon mélange de math-rock, noise et punk, toujours pointu mais pas gratuit, les riffs et les ambiances en ligne de mire. De là à coller l’étiquette Transe-rock à tout ceci, il n’y a qu’un pas. Après une centaine de concerts, la période 2020 et des changements de trajectoire, voilà le groupe relocalisé dans les bas fonds grenoblois. La recette est épurée et le line up évolue avec l’arrivée de Martin (Mother Medusa) à la batterie. Depuis le duo reprend les morceaux là où la fin du monde les avait laissés, et travaille sur des nouvelles compos pour repartir sur les routes en 2024.
