Lucrate Milk

[EN] Lucrate Milk is the pioneering group of the French alternative movement, positioning itself as a leading figure in No Wave and Post-punk. No other group symbolizes French DIY music to the same extent. Without aiming to become a legend, Lucrate Milk, through a series of events, injected an incredible dynamism into its career, which was nonetheless short-lived. A few records, however, have left a lasting impact. Originally released in 1987, the compilation that brings together the EP "Lustiges Tierquartett" (October 1981) + the EP "Nepla Relou" (1983) + the "Lucrate" side of the split with MKB (recorded at WW in 1984) has been reissued but has also been quickly out of stock for too long.

Reissued in 2014, with an initial digital version released by Atypeek Music and a translucent green vinyl version by our friends from the Archives de la Zone Mondiale. This time, the vinyl edition did not forget to include "On the radiator." It comes with a booklet containing 48 photos for the quickest fans.

[FR] Lucrate Milk est le groupe pionnier du mouvement alternatif français, se positionnant en tant que figure de proue de la No Wave et du Post-punk. Aucun autre groupe ne symbolise autant le DIY musical à la française. Sans chercher à devenir une légende, Lucrate Milk, à travers une série d'événements, a insufflé une dynamique incroyable tout en menant une carrière éphémère. Quelques disques ont néanmoins laissé une empreinte durable.

Initialement paru en 1987, le recueil regroupant l'EP "Lustiges Tierquartett" (octobre 1981) + l'EP "Nepla Relou" (1983) + la face "Lucrate" du split avec MKB (enregistré chez WW en 1984) a été réédité, mais est également rapidement épuisé depuis trop longtemps.

Réédité en 2014, une première version numérique chez Atypeek Music et en vinyle translucide vert chez nos amis des Archives de la Zone Mondiale. Cette fois, l'édition vinyle n'a pas omis d'inclure "On the radiator". Elle est accompagnée d'un livret de 48 photos.
