AUTŌMATA

[EN] Founded in Paris in 2019, AUTŌMATA is an instrumental quartet featuring Jean-Baptiste Elineau, Etienne Ertul, François Lamouret and David Vivès. Blending post-rock, progressive rock, ambient and electronic music, the band creates an immersive and cinematic sound, where guitars, keyboards, synthesizers, drums and electronic textures come together to build constantly evolving sonic landscapes. Following their self-titled debut album in 2021 and Heart Murmur in 2023, AUTŌMATA return with West Is Won, their new album, due for release in November 2026 on Atypeek Music and Araki Records. A new chapter for the band, combining instrumental intensity, cinematic atmospheres and sonic exploration.

[FR] Fondé à Paris en 2019, AUTŌMATA est un quatuor instrumental réunissant Jean-Baptiste Elineau, Etienne Ertul, François Lamouret et David Vivès. À la croisée du post-rock, du rock progressif, de l’ambient et de l’électronique, le groupe développe une musique immersive et cinématographique, où guitares, claviers, synthétiseurs, batterie et textures électroniques construisent des paysages sonores en constante évolution. Après un premier album éponyme en 2021 et Heart Murmur en 2023, AUTŌMATA revient avec West Is Won, son nouvel album à paraître en novembre 2026 chez Atypeek Music et Araki Records. Une nouvelle étape pour le groupe, entre puissance instrumentale, atmosphères cinématographiques et exploration sonore.
